There has been a long felt need establishing a new B.Ed College in this area of the district of Birbhum with a view to giving scope to the educated youth for acquiring Bachelor of education degree to enhance their skill and Competence to join in teaching profession. Such degree now in a knowledge base society may be treated for an essential pre-requisite for becoming a teacher in Secondary/higher Secondary School. A teacher has to renew and update his / her teaching competency all along his/her career and B.Ed. Course in just the first base of this teaching process. Keeping proper emphasis on the need of the society and to meet the future challenges in the field of education, the new College will be established at Daskalgram adjacent to Kirnahar Town. It will started functioning very soon. The college is in process to obtain the necessary requisite permission in related to NCTE approval and affiliation from the University of Burdwan and as well as the Higher Education Department, Govt. of West Bengal.
